Cosmos
terminals are an exclusive Tratécnica development. Their
external design is both nice and
innovative. Its original colour shows the users they are dealing
with a special product.
The installation of the different Cosmos terminals is extremely
simple in all circumstances.
Cosmos terminals share the following common technical characteristics:

16-bit microprocessor.
- Two RS 232 serial ports (one of them in the external reader).

Bicolour LED state of system and operation indicator.

Digital inputs and outputs.

Programming of parameters through card system and/or portable programmer.

Optional alphanumeric display of 2x16 backlighted characters.
The
range of Cosmos terminals has been developed to coexist in one installation,
thus making it possible to
apply to any machine the right terminal for its particular working.
COSMOS
L
This is the basic terminal from the Cosmos range. Orientated towards
“Plug and play” functionality.
Cosmos L is available in two versions:

MDB. Connectable to MDB machines and change dispensers with support for MDB payment systems
-
Executive: connectable to executive machines as sole payment system.
COSMOS C
Incorporation of external reader and internal CPU connectable to all types of machine and all types of coin system.

Available external readers for Cosmos are::
COSMOS C: External reader for Cosmos Chip
card.
COSMOS P: External reader for contactless
Cosmos card.
COSMOS D: External reader for Cosmos Chip card with alphanumeric display included. The display informs the user of their balance and the status of the operation. If desired, the name of the user may also be displayed. Thus, the control system is intuitive and userfriendly for the final user.
COSMOS PD: The external reader for the contactless Cosmos card with alphanumeric display included.
